Oaxaca has been one of Mexico's culinary gems for a long time, and only recently has it started receiving the global attention it deserves. On Friday, April 29 we will have the opportunity to eat at one of Oaxaca's iconic, award-winning restaurants.
As a convenience we have pre-booked multiple reservation times. You do not need to do a thing! You should have already received your restaurant assignments from Janet; if not, please reach out to Janet directly.

Criollo
Enrique Olvera, one of Mexico's most famous chefs, opened this spot to celebrate his modern Oaxaca-inspired creations. You enter through the kitchen, where you take a quick glance at the dishes being beautifully plated, and then walk by the comal (flat, rounded griddle) station, with the amazing smell of the corn masa cooking over wood fire. At that point you’ll be in an outdoor patio with big tables and inviting chairs. The food here is superb, with a menu that is locally sourced and seasonal.

Los Danzantes
Los Danzantes is an artsy, design-forward spot that regularly appears on 'Best in Oaxaca' lists—and for good reason. They do traditional food extremely well, with a chic outdoor terrace that's a perfect backdrop for a rotating menu of seasonally inspired dishes. The flavors here reflect the textures and colors of traditional, authentic Oaxacan recipes.

El Destilado
The ambience is perfection whether you're on the rooftop or in the warm, vibrant dining area. An utterly delicious tasting menu (six, nine or twelve courses) of Oaxaca's elemental ingredients is explained and served with so much love. Wine pairings superbly accent the meal.
